Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure
Last updated: June 15, 2026
In the interest of transparency and in line with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, this page explains how Artist Payout makes money and what that means for you. The short version: the site is free to use, and we may earn compensation when you choose to act on certain outbound links or referrals — at no extra cost to you.
How we may be compensated
- Affiliate links. Some links to third-party providers are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or transact, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is not affected by our commission.
- Cost-per-lead (CPL) referrals. If you choose to submit a form asking to be matched with providers, we may be compensated when we pass your consented details to a relevant provider. You decide whether to submit anything, and you can opt out anytime.
- Advertising. We may display advertising on the site. Ads are labeled or visually distinct from our editorial content.
Signed partnerships vs. placeholders
We will never imply a partnership that doesn't exist. Where we mention a provider for which we do not have a signed affiliate or referral agreement, that mention is informational only and is labeled as such — it is not a paid placement and earns us nothing. As we sign agreements, the corresponding links may become compensated, and this disclosure applies to them. In short: an "Informational" label means no commercial relationship; a compensated link is covered by the disclosure above.
Our editorial independence
Compensation never determines our recommendations. The providers we list reflect the market, not who pays the most, and our calculators and guides apply the same sourced, range-based methodology regardless of whether a link is compensated. We're an independent information service and are not owned or controlled by any distributor, publisher, PRO, or funding company. Read more on our about page.
Why disclose at all?
Because you deserve to know our incentives, and because trust is the only thing that makes a site like this worth using. Our business model only works if our recommendations are genuinely useful, so our interest is aligned with sending you toward options that actually fit your situation.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site — including any compensated link — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Estimates are for informational purposes only. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
